Pay for engineering velocity, not seat count
The Society is priced around the number of active environments your team runs, not the number of engineers who log in. We made this decision deliberately: adding a new engineer to a deployment review should never trigger a billing conversation. Our pricing tiers differ primarily in the number of concurrent environments, the inclusion of the GraphQL API, and access to on-premises deployment options. Every tier includes unlimited deployments, automatic rollbacks, preview environments, and full dashboard access. There are no per-deployment fees and no surprise egress charges from The Society — your cloud provider's costs are entirely separate and always under your control.

Pricing questions, answered clearly
What counts as an active environment?
An active environment is any named deployment target — production, staging, or a long-running feature branch — that has received at least one deployment in the current billing month. Ephemeral pull-request preview environments are not counted and are included on every plan at no additional cost.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle to ensure you retain access to your current tier's features for the period you have already paid for.
Do you offer discounts for startups or nonprofits?
Yes. Irish-registered companies in their first two years can apply for our Founder Rate, which provides 40% off the Growth plan for 12 months. Registered charities and nonprofit organisations receive 30% off any plan on an ongoing basis. Contact [email protected] with proof of eligibility.
Is VAT included in the prices shown?
No. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. Irish customers will be charged VAT at the applicable rate (currently 23%). EU business customers outside Ireland should provide their VAT registration number at checkout to apply the reverse charge mechanism.
